Private Camera offers a number of unique features and a slick, iOS 7-inspired interface to protect your personal photos and videos on your iPhone. When you set up the app for the first time, you can choose to set a standard PIN-style password or a drawn password. The password can be changed later, but it's important that you remember what you set now because it will be used every time you open the app or wake it from sleep. You also can set the app to use iCloud for backups and you can create a mail backup system for your password in case you forget it. This is all done very smoothly and with clear instructions between steps. After this is complete, you can then start snapping photos and saving them to the default album or any other albums you create. Sharing is enabled for all images and videos and import options are available, as well.

Private Camera offers similar features to other free security apps for your phone, but it is smoother and faster than many of those other options, working well with the iOS 7 layout. There are some light ads, but they don't distract and the upgraded features in the paid version make the app more useful, but aren't vital to using it properly. This is a great, free app and well worth the download.
