Saved me a bunch on a new laptop

- - it's really minimal, so you forget it's there until you're shopping - they compare prices across a bunch of different places, so I was confident I was getting the best price - you'll randomly find coupons that you didn't know existed. Didn't have to sign up for anything or visit another website - just got the savings since it was installed.

- - since the notification box is small, you sometimes can't read the full coupon description.
- Summary
- I had downloaded it a few months ago and actually forgot that it was installed. Needed to get a new laptop for work, and while shopping around, a little box popped up in the bottom right of the browser that linked to the same laptop for cheaper through TigerDirect. I clicked on the link and ended up saving a couple hundred bucks on the laptop and shipping. Was happy enough with everything to leave a review!
Saved me about $450 on a camera. Awesome.

- It makes sure that I'm getting the lowest price on whatever I'm buying online. Easy to use: you don't have to do anything special, it just tells you about prices as you surf. You don't ever see it unless you're actually on a shopping page. It doesn't make my computer run any slower. It's not too annoying, like some pop-ups and tool-bars I've seen. It doesn't hijack my browser or anything shady.
- Cons
- I sometimes forget to check it since it's all the way at the bottom right of the screen. It sometimes goofs and shows the wrong products. It was bundled with something else that I downloaded, which is always a little annoying.

- I was buying a new camera and shopping all around for it. I thought I had the lowest price at B&H Photo, but this add-on popped up and showed a price that was about $450 LOWER at Sears.com. I would never have thought to look at Sears for a high-end Nikon DSLR. Now, whenever I buy something online I make sure to check this add-on. It will show me if there is a lower price (most of the time) or if I'm already looking at the lowest price. Like, if you're looking at a washing machine online, the prestosavings thingy will show that same washing machine prices from all the lowest stores around the internet. It sometimes gets confused and shows similar products and not the exact one I'm looking at, but that's not a big deal. Overall, I like it a lot and it has saved me from overspending more than a few times!
