Safeguard provides wizards for generating scripts for backup, recovery, import, export and duplication. Backup options include full or incremental backup, full or partial database including tablespace and datafile backups, disk or tape destinations with post-backp ftp/sftp file transfer, automatic scheduling and job execution, all with comprehensive reports delivered on demand or emailed to system administrators.
