Though not action packed, this platform-style game has a few things going for it. In Pow Pow s Great Adventure, you play the hero of the same name, as you navigate moving platforms and obstacles to pass each world and reunite with your girlfriend. Along the way, you ll need to collect coins and avoid enemies, although we didn t find the few foes we encountered very aggressive. Unlike many platform arcade games we ve tested, this one has big, well-detailed 3D graphics, which makes it easy to see and control your character. The downside of this polished design is the game takes up a considerable amount of system resources. In terms of features, the program lets you reconfigure the controls to your liking, play in windowed or full-screen modes, and adjust the audio volume. The game s story line seems engrossing, but since the demo only lets you view half of the intro, it s hard to get a feel for your exact goal. Nevertheless, Pow Pow s Great Adventure seems like it will serve to keep younger gamers entertained.
