Precision instrument from motor sports: the new Sport Chrono package including Porsche Track Precision App and lap trigger preparation for the Porsche 911 R, GT3, GT3RS and the Porsche Cayman GT4.This is the Porsche Track Precision App to complete your Sport Chrono package for the Porsche 911 R, GT3, GT3RS and the Porsche Cayman GT4. When driving on a race circuit, the driving dynamics and the sector and lap times are visualised as well as the lap time differences are displayed in comparison with a reference lap. The app uses highly precise system data supplied directly by a separate control unit in the vehicle.With the Porsche Track Precision App, lap times can be measured automatically via GPS and precise vehicle data, including video, can be recorded, analysed and managed on your smartphone. It is possible to share and compare the recorded data with other drivers. For more details, please see the functional description at www.porsche.com/track-precision-appThe lap trigger available through Porsche Tequipment allows even more precise measurement of the lap times. It can be positioned next to the start and finish line on the circuit. Then it automatically measures and transmits the lap times to the Porsche Track Precision App.Requirements:A Porsche 911 R, GT3, GT3RS or a Porsche Cayman GT4 as well as the option "Sport Chrono package including Porsche Track Precision App and lap trigger preparation" (643) are required to use the Porsche Track Precision App. The control unit for the Porsche Track Precision app is available for retrofitting in the entire Porsche 911 R, GT3, GT3RS (991) and Porsche Cayman GT4 (981) model range through Porsche Tequipment.The full range of app functions is only available when you drive your vehicle on tracks closed to the public that are supported by the Porsche Track Precision App.The map editor and analyses based on GPS data are not available in China and Turkey.
