  It checks your mail with a popup and it pops up over and over and over again. It goes forever...you have mail...you have mail...you have mail. Once would be sufficient.

  I use Outlook Express to read my email on several computers. (Work and at home) This application will report back on the number of email you have sitting in your POP account. Great for MOST users, but not for those that are setup to leave mail on the server. Another reservation I have is unless you go check the email right after it pops up and says you've got 8 messages waiting, it's going to KEEP popping up saying you've got 8 messages waiting. It'd be better if it'd remember message IDs and tell you exactly how many are new since LAST check.

  Some time ago I have discovered that mail checking software and I really love it. I have to point out, however, some difficultie encountered. When the program checks for a mail message and finds one an invisible window named "horus" becomes active (interrupting your actual work). Secondly, the picture in tray is not quite clear. It would be great if there would be some to choose from.

  This program does exactly what I whould like it to do: Check a POP3 account for new messages, period. If you have a need for only this, it's a great program: No install, very small.

  this is perfect for simple POP3 account checking. ezpop is nice butt his runs on a 1/3 of the memory and it's so intrusive. this program is exactly what i've been looking for!
