• Hand equity - maybe the most important thing to consider when playing poker

  Pros

  I've owned this software for sometime now. I wrote the publishers sometime ago the following, which explains it all: <p> <p>Your software has provided me more education into the intricacies of poker than quite a number of books I have purchased. I don't think anyone could possibly play Poker correctly without understanding hand equity. I'm getting better, but I don't think I would have progressed much at all without being able to run all the simulations that your software allows me to do. Everyone should know how to do pot odds, but to understand where your hand resides in terms of it's % chance to win, both pre & post flop, turn, and river - well, you may never be perfect at this intricate calculation, but Poker Drill Master will get your further towards this goal than any other 'math' related software. I've done the 'drill's' over and over, and I keep doing them. To stay sharp and able to play on-line games in the time allotted, this is the software that helps you maintain a winning percentage!

  Cons

  This software is good for all Hold'em poker games, but a litte more orientated towards Limit Poker when it comes to pot odds and such. In No Limit you are always at risk of losing your whole stack, so to bet, or not to bet, requires more info. But to really know hand equity, the real goal of this software I believe, this program is absolutely fantastic - IMHO

  Pros

  The Calculator mode is the brains behind Poker Drill Master and it is worth the price of the program by itself. What separates this calculator from others is that you can test any combination of both known and unknown hands. Most calculators make you enter a second hand to make a comparison. This doesn't do you any good if you are trying to determine the strength of your hand against random unknown hands. Poker Drill Masters lets you do just that. In fact if you are playing online you can actually have the program running and enter in your hand during a live game to help you determine your odds of winning against random hands.
