PicPerk is an image viewer and editor that supports most common graphic formats, including JPEG, GIF, TIFF, BMP, PCX, WMF, and TGA. The application enables you to open a specific image file and also enables you to open a folder and view and edit any image included in it. Along with the usual assortment of file operations, such as convert, copy, move, rename, delete, and print, PicPerk features thumbnails and full-screen viewing, zoom functions, and 33 image-editing effects, including crop, resize, and red-eye removal. In addition, PicPerk features tools to display slide shows, to set and remove the desktop wallpaper, and to associate file types with it.

Version 7 includes unspecified updates.

Nice slide show program.

Pros
In the slide show function this is the only program that allows increments of 0.1 seconds allowing fast reviews of pictures at fast times with periods like 0.5 or 0.4, 0.2 or even 0.1 seconds.
Cons
Very basic program.

Tiny program that does the job, plus allows slideshows faster than 1 per second something no other program allows.

Pros
Easy to convert file extensions and re size photos and by using the "print to fit function" will fill the sheet and have all of the information you want printed.
Cons
Not a great photo editor
Summary
If you need to convert a file from one extension to another it is a great tool and for resizing photos it is also easy. With the print to fit function you can make your photos the same size every time.
if you are looking for a TIFF editor, look elsewhere...

This is an all in one, I can crop and edit, and it's easy to use. The one reason I use this over photoshop or any other program is I can open a folder of images and move from one picture to the next without having to go to the menu and select file and browse through images to get the one I want. <p>Yes you have to register to use the trial, however you can put in minimal information. Then I blocked the program that wanted access to the net. <p>For 9.99 a simple editor that does the major things and easy to use.
Cons
This went from a free program to having to pay for it.....having used it for more than 4 years 'free', the original would not let me open folders and often locked up on me. So the downside is being forced to pay for it. I got not response from PicPerk when I aksed them about this, so I'm not sure their customer service is so hot, but the program is hands down easy to use...

Not only you have to register it to try it, it didn't even work and crashed with Win 98 when you try to run it. It did uninstall cleanly though...

Pros
I hate programs that automatically search every drive and catalog every photo. This program allows you to select the folder you want and to change folders easily. The editing tools are easy to use and function flawlessly!
Cons
You have to register to try it, but it's worth the effort! I bought it and consider it a bargain!

Pros
All images within a directory load an appear in seconds at full quality, no more loading and looking around needed. Editing tools almost "pro" but easy to use, just straight! Can't get easier!
