The Tone Mapping Plug-In compresses the tonal range of High Dynamic Range images while maintaining local contrast. Details in both highlights and shadows are retrieved while making the HDR image ready for display on standard monitors and prints. The plug-in can also be applied to 16-bit images resulting from RAW conversion.
