PhotoCineView is a Directors Viewfinder Application that simulates the Field of View of today's most commonly used digital cinema cameras.

PhotoCineView is a Directors Viewfinder Application that simulates the Field of View of today's most commonly used digital cinema cameras.

It allows the user to compare the coverage and aspect ratio of two digital sensors simultaneously, making it easy to anticipate lens and camera choices.

With new generations of full frame cameras, the number of existing sensor variations multiplies, the application quickly solves the mysteries of FOV and "Crop Factors"

The tool is simple and quick to use:

- The coloured rectangles make it possible to visually compare the various sensors

- Screenshots can be saved to the Phones Image Libraries

- A number of technical specifications of each camera such as Weight, Framerates and Recording Formats can also be easily compared to one another.

For the moment, the Application only simulates spherical lenses. 2X and 1.3x Anamorphic support is coming soon in an update.
