PFO Shield simplifies finding your friends and family when needed. Use the Shield app while training/running alone or use it to give your children a fast way to alert you if anything happens. It is the easy-to-use, every-day personal safety app with two intuitive alarm functions:-Pulling the headset out of the phone,-Pressing an alarm button,The Hey Im Here function is a chat in a map feature. The message you send appears on your location on the map. Use this for meeting someone or just letting people know where you are. PFO Shield is fully functional as a stand-alone app, or as the official companion app to the PFO Shield personal safety bracelet.The app is also used to respond to alarms from other users, or wearers of the PFO Shield bracelet.Features include:- Tracking the location of the alarm since the alarm was triggered- Tracking the current locations of all those responding to the alarm- Notice of connection/disconnection to the alarm by the user as well as the Shields, i.e. when moving in and out of internet connectivity, or when canceling the alarmPFO Shield makes use of the full set of location capabilities of the iPhone, including GPS, A-GPS, WiFi and CellID-triangulation. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
