• It Just Works

  Pros

  With next to no budget and 150 volunteers scattered across our state, we built a case and activity reporting system in 2 weeks back in 2010.And still running flawlessly. With additional licenses we were able to create customized Volunteer Management Dashboards for the paid staff of our small state agency, improving both the quality and timeliness of our data. We had excellent support every time we had questions--the CEO even helped us design one of our forms in the early days! I rate everything about this product as 5 stars.

  Cons

  We wish we had the technical expertise in our shop to increase the functionality that an on-site implementation would add. But I agree with a previous reviewer that the SaaS (On Demand) offering has many customizable features and options that really allow us to do amazing things.

  Summary

  Whatever size of project you're looking at, this product is effective and scalable at a very affordable price. Give it a try.

  Pros

  Ability to empower users to create their own forms electronically. Ability to be paperless, but paper-like leveraging what users already know about the process of completing a given form. Ability to obtain electronic signatures using an email workflow. Ability to design user centric Dashboards needed to monitor a given process in realtime. Ability to export data to Excel for ad hoc reporting. Ability to render in HTML for use with an iOS device. Ability to be used in the Software as a Service (SaaS) mode and still have custom features like local E-Mail Servers. Example: UT Martin eForms@utm.edu instead of perfectforms@perfectforms.com

  Cons

  As with other browser based software solutions, and until HTML5 becomes the standard for all browsers, the user experience can vary depending on the browser, and version being used.

  Summary

  I've been using PerfectForms since 2007. I never expected it to be free. I did start out with a 30 day free trial with 1 user. As of today, we have 46 users, and have started two PerfectForms User Groups (one for designers, and one for non-designers). PerfectForms has brought effectiveness and efficiency to our processes, and users are excited every time we announce that another manual paper based form has gone paperless using PerfectForms.

  Pros

  Seems quite logical and could be a good piece of software.

  Cons

  I signed up for a trial (it definitely isn't free by the way). Within days I was getting hounded by a pushy salesman who was not only rude, but also trying to steal my client.

  Summary

  They actively stood in the way of progress, and when I tried to make contact with them, was met with the most absurd response. Seriously, it was so pathetic, pedantic, and hostile that I encourage you to steer well clear of these guys

  Summary

  why put it in "free" when its only a trial version? I recommend using formsite.com. its free/paid. just copy and paste the html code into your site. but the free version your only aloud 5 forms but it works perfectly and its not to much to upgrade
