  Small window at start. No mouse scroll function?!? Not user friendly to resize pages,...etc. Frustrating

  Pros

  The native metro app on windows 8 failed to print some PDFs which were coded with older software. Downloaded this and it worked like a charm.

  Cons

  The software tries to bundle some browser addins at the time of installations. Take care to uncheck those pesky boxes.

  Pros

  I downloaded a preview copy of Windows 8.1, and frustrated, no Microsoft PDF reader or PDF viewer that allows me to view multiple PDF documents on my screen. Searched a while, and found this PDF viewer, and it does its promise...open, view, and print PDF files on Windows 8.1.

  Cons

  More features can be added, such as crop/cropping, extract/extraction.

  Summary

  Nice freeware. Meet my needs.

  Nice and simple UI

  Too limited in its features. No pdf contents pane so very hard to jump chapters and contents. The page display is not nearly as good as popular viewers.

  Summary

  This is spookily Very similar to the Cool pdf reader - it looked no different and behaved in the same way, to me anyway. If you just require a simple viewer than go for either. But for more features for a pdf reader, go for one of the popular ones.

• very simple and fast program

  Pros

  One nice feature is the save as text option, although it only works a page at a time. It seems to handle word spacing and multiple columns better than some other free PDF converters. Pictures are also extracted as JPGs when you save the page as text.

  Cons

  Designed for Windows 8, not compatible with Windows 7.

  Summary

  for me it's very simple and fast program, if you need that I think that is right thing....
