They can seemingly charge whatever they want to your bank account and even when you contact the fraud department of your bank, they will just attempt to change the amount debited and successfully bypass the block on the account.
They owe me over $600.00 and that is not including all the overages they have caused and the pain and suffering in trying to cancel the account Three times.
My Christmas gift from them was affirmation they closed my account. Funny how that works. Contact the BBB, and something gets done. Now just give me back my money.

Do not use Payanywhere.com. Warning!!! I'm a single mother that signed up for their services. Not only did they make mistake after mistake with entering my bank account info, but all of a sudden after 1 week they freeze my account for non-specific reasons and tell me that I signed something that says that they can hold it for 120 days. They are holding $1600 from me and II never signed anything not does their terms of service state nothing regarding buying and reselling items online. Funny, that describes 99% of all online retail. Now, I don't have money to pay rent or feed my child. Well done Payanywhere.com. How many others have you done this to? in fact, if you google "payanwhere.com scam" or "payanywhere.com class action" you'll find a link containing dozens and dozens of complaints about them stealing money from their clients like me. It's insane that you can setup a corporation and advertise services, then let customers charge their clients and then you freeze their accounts and keep their money? How is this legal? How is this possible? Why are we arresting thieves on the streets for stealing when this is occurring daily online with Payanywhere? If it's legal to do it online, why not in person? So, if I start stealing peoples wallets under a corporate banner, then I should be good to go. I can just tell the cops that that person signed an agreement which I won't be able to produce, but since they agreed and I've frozen their money for 120 days, all is well. Amazing huh? I am now looking at contacting as many people as possible which Payanywhere has stolen from to initiate a class action law suit. Lets get our money back and put these tools behind bars! Absolutely the worst, WORST credit card system possible. I can not believe that North American Bancard owns this brand, and gets away with fraud.
Our company has been in business for 13 years, and we decided to use pay anywhere because of features, ease of use, etc.
Our first batch using pay anywhere was 13 business days ago. We still do not have the funds in our account. I've confirmed our banking information, and identity of the company 5 times now. I've provided countless documents, licenses, etc. 2 or 3 dozen phone calls, having to get our local bank branch involved, and a call to the BBB has only proven 1 thing: that pay anywhere is not a trustworthy company, founded on good business practice.
After all of our investigation through our local bank branch, and the BBB, we found out that our funds had been transferred to a bank account OTHER than the one we work with. Despite having our correct routing number, and account number, Pay Anywhere deposited the funds into another bank. Sounds pretty fishy to me. I really have no idea when, or if we will see our money.
Please avoid this company at all costs.

PayAnywhere is a terrible service! They cost our company time & money :( Signed up on March 28, 1012 and 2 days later without any notice our account was closed. The only way we found out was by calling customer service ( number not on app or website... lol what a joke!) because it had been 6 days sense our last Credit Card transaction and there was still no deposits to our business bank account. When I asked them where the money was? my Senior Sales Rep.

replied. We have reversed the funds and it will take up to 10 busienss days for your customer to see the funds. 10 business days? That is over 2 weeks! WTF.... lol Then when I asked her why our accuont was closed and why Malika replied "you will receiev a letter in the mail, I am too busy with too many other merchant accounts to review this with you right now". Wow!! Really? I guess I am happy I found out now oposed to later when larger ammounts of sales were circulating through PayAnywhere's merchant stystem. Be very aware of this so called merchant provider!

We set up our account, but had to answer the same background questions, for times. We made a substantial transaction ($6500), we received the invoice, but the funds were not transferred to my bus. acct. We spoke to our acct. rep, and we were told to answer more background info, submit my business checking account info for the last 3 months, which I did. Then 2 days later (no money), I had to submit the invoice stating we had submitted the CC again... we were told everything was a go.. Waited friday, saturday, sunday and monday morning.. still no money. We got pushed around to everyones vmail. Then told we needed to submit all the info we sent them twice before. Oh, then someone says all I can submit is $2000 charges at a time.. Which is crazy because we need to do transactions in the $8000 plus range. Also being charged over 3% for this service is ridiculous.

So, eight days after I made the initial transaction, I have no money and 20 people who are counting on being paid. As a small business, I can't afford this. Total Nightmare!!
I would not recommend this product or company. The customer service is extremely poor, and their resolution process is flawed. We've had to contact our clients and ask them to call their CC company and have them void the transaction.
We are never using them again, and I will warn anyone, everywhere... that this is not worth the risk. I am in the service business, and this is the worst experience I have every had... Buyer beware!!!!
