Pros
My niece has a plenty of mts videos which want to share with me. But mts format is such painful one that it can't be played in various platforms. In order to solve this problem, I searched on the Apple forum and fond this Pavtube MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac . People were waxing lyrical about this software , So I thought I would take the plunge , and was very happy with the result.
