Parallels Access for Android

Parallels Access enables you to manage your Mac or Windows computer through your smartphone or tablet and run most desktop apps as if they're on your device. It's an effective remote access app, but because of its price and security vulnerabilities may not appeal to everyone.

Pros

Works as intended: Parallels Access accomplishes the hard task of successfully connecting to Windows/Mac computers remotely and providing you with a pleasing, intuitive, and easy to use full-screen graphical environment through which you can run Windows/Mac apps as if they're Android software. The ability to choose which apps to see on screen, and the unobtrusive toolbar for configuring Parallels are nice features that further increase this app's appeal.

Lock'n'Go Magnifying Glass makes running apps easier: A really cool feature of the app is the magnifying glass that appears in any Windows or Mac app once you tap anywhere on the screen and hold your finger there for a moment. With it you can easily tap on small buttons and menu items, as well as do image resizing, move or edit columns, and drag files across the screen more quickly.

Recognizes most computer apps: Judging from our own experience with the app as well as from Google Play user reviews, we can say that Parallels picks up most apps on the computer it remotely accesses.

Cons

Not as secure as it could be: The app's convenience comes at the price of security -- the lack of multi-factor authentication makes your data extremely vulnerable if someone manages to get hold of your Parallels authentication.

Requires subscription: To use this app after the trial expires, you have to pay $19.99, for which you get remote access for up to 5 computers. There are cheaper, more popular alternatives available.

Bottom Line

Parallels Access succeeds in providing the effortless remote access to Mac/Windows computers that it promises. Its easy to learn, intuitive controls make it a viable choice, especially if you want to use computer apps through your tablet. The only downside to this app is the price. Still, you should give the trial a go.
