Palliative Wound Pro for Android

This app provides an overview of wound etiologies commonly encountered in the palliative and hospice patient population along with images, treatment and documentation guidelines. It provides a web link for further details on pressure injuries which are the most commonly encountered wounds in this population. Although wound healing may not always be possible in the individual with advanced disease, there is much we can do as healthcare practitioners to improve the quality of life for our patients and their caregivers. Case studies are also provided.
