• Fast paced 1st person shooter

  Good graphics and frame rate, it simply cruises on my notebook, Centrino 1.7 with 128mb ATI Mobility Radeon and 1GB RAM I was actually quite suprised. Game has a nice atmosphere to it, nothing better than shooting an old school arrows around, and the spinning blade slicing and dicing; love it.

  Cons

  The last 1st person shooter I sat down and played was Half-Life, so if anything this game was just a little too fast for me. Gets a little repetative with swarms of demons and whatever hacking the crap out of you. And those little skeleton bastards, well they just pissed me off. And you can't save game either in the demo, so now I have to start again from scratch. All in all though it was certainly worth the download.

  unlike the other reviews i found this ran alright,and manged to run it with a 256mb nvidia geforce 6200 on high settings,however i would recommend using medium settings to get much better frame rates <p> a crackin game

  It seems the improvements were tailored toward the high end rigs. I have a 2.6 cpu 1 gb of ram ati 9800 and the game dragged. I even lowered all texture details and unchecked all advance options. I love Painkiller just can't play demo3.

  This game has good graphics and a Serious Sam style of play with a dark twist. It's great for anyone who likes to blast their way through levels and defeat large bosses at the end!

  I've got a fairly new 2.6 GHz computer with 512MB and all that, but Painkiller 3 grinds it to a halt and the demo is a choppy slideshow of uncontrolable scenes. Have downloaded this file from 3 different sources and always the same. Don't know if it contains a trojan or what, but all computer operations limp along until the demo is removed. The first two demos ran great, however, so it's not a problem with Painkiller or my computer - just this version. Consider yourself warned.

  though i did'nt it completely cause i did'nt have the complete version. but i have seen the satges of this game on a prorame which were simply terrific. i really thrilled by the graphics.
