In February of 2000, there was an unauthorized release of this game that came with an installer. That release is not connected to JROK Games in any way. The installer changed your browser window to an advertising page and placed an advertising icon on your desktop. This problem has been corrected, and you may now download this game without any further disruption.
Play an adaptation of the original arcade game Pac-Man.
If you remember the '80s, chances are you remember playing a game called Pac-Man. PacPC is a free clone that brings the hungry yellow dot and even hungrier ghosts to your PC's desktop. Just as in the original game, the object is to speed around the onscreen maze, munching dots and the occasional bonus goody on the way. Avoid the ghosts at all costs, unless you munch out on one of those really big dots: only then are the tables turned on those meddlesome spooks.
Another 'down-load' from C-Net that loads your hard-drive with Malware. C-Net states that they check downloads for virus programs but they should do the same for malware!!!!

Only con I can think of is that you can't play this game with today's CPU Tech that has Vista or 7. You have to download a Dos-Base Emulator just to play it on a CPU with Vista or 7 today.

As I mention this is one of the Best PC/DOS games ever.
But if you want to play it on Windows Vista or 7 you best get a Dos-Base Emulator just to play it on today's Windows Operating Systems.
This Game still works for those who use Windows 3.X up till Windows XP of course. That's only if you still use those systems.

Another pro about this game is that it's as good as the Arcade Version. If you use DosBox or any DOS-Based Emulator you might want to download the game.

It never reconized my "joystick" and I tried 3 different ones. and then after trying to exit the program It crashed the PC. I have been able to recover it as I am a technician. but if you do not have alot of patients and if you use a wirless keyboard it will not function quick enough to play this game. The split second it takes for the signal from the keyboard to the computer can mean missing the turn.

the sound is clasic and all that, but, it sounds scratchy and skips. the game freezes alot, and that pritty mutch will ruin it for you.tha screen is allso too big. and pac man dont move as fast as he did on the real arcade. takes out the hardness of it
