Die-hard Pac-Man fans will appreciate the extras in this version of the venerable game. PacBomber is Pac-Man with power-ups. You still navigate mazelike courses, trying to eat the blue dots while avoiding the ghosts, but you also can get power-ups that let you drop bombs, move faster, and carry a shield. The program's more advanced levels include teleporters. The game plays very much like the original Pac-Man, although the bombs give you some extra strategy options. The new version's graphics seem improved from past iterations, but they're still not likely to blow anyone's mind. Although PacBomber's gameplay isn't substantially different from Pac-Man, devotees of the original might want to give it a go.

Why a trial version when the full version doesn't exist

The trial version is fun - nice graphics, etc. - and I enjoy it.
Cons
I like the trial version, but when I tried to buy the full version, I did not get a license key. Instead, I got this: Your license codes are: Can't connect to www.gamerange.net:80 (Bad hostname) LWP::Protocol::http::Socket: Bad hostname 'www.gamerange.net' at /DRH/engine/E1/regnow/runtime/lib.cpan/lib/perl5/LWP/Protocol/http.pm line 51, &lt;$fh&gt; line 1. Big disappointment.
Summary
Why go do all the trouble of creating a trial version and advertising the full version if the full version doesn't really exist?
It is a very good program.

My wife just loves the pacman. I am going to purchase it for her. She plays <p>it for hours on her computer and leaves my a lone where I can get some <p>work done. gor
