Original Design Creation Wallpaper by ODC for iOS

Original design creation, or ODC, is a custom wallpaper maker that lets users combine images and background colors to create their own wallpapers. Unfortunately, the app doesn't offer much in the way of options, limiting how customized its wallpapers actually are.

Pros

Easy to use: ODC has a very basic interface, and instructions when the app first opens explain its features. You swipe left or right to scroll through the app's ten background colors, swipe up and down to scroll through the app's 21 images, and tap to change the image color. This makes it easy to explore what ODC has to offer.

Inspiration: Much of what ODC contains in the way of images includes inspirational slogans, such as "We are what we think!" and "All limitations are self imposed." If you like to use your mobile device to help you maintain a positive attitude, you might like ODC's offerings.

Cons

Not really custom: Although you can combine the images and colors that ODC presents you with, there are no options for custom text or images. Users are likely to feel somewhat limited by ODC's options, particularly if you are looking for something really unique.

Kind of cheesy: Some of ODC's offerings just aren't things that we think would appeal to too many people. "Time is not running out if you are chasing" and "Keep it simple stupid" don't necessarily sound like good wallpaper fodder, and we're not even sure why you'd want to have "Can't Google me? Bing me" on your screen.

Bottom line

Original design creation is easy to use and has an intuitive interface, but overall, we weren't terribly impressed with it. There are innumerable options for mobile device wallpapers out there, and ODC doesn't offer anything particularly interesting or attractive. It's free, so there's no reason not to check it out; but you should look at other options as well before settling on this one.
