OPlayer offers a number of tools and options for browsing and playing your media files directly, remotely, and from the cloud on your iOS device. Despite the lack of initial user guidance, the result is a well-crafted, generally easy-to-use tool that can bring together the disparate storage solutions for your music and videos into one streamlined media player.

When you open OPlayer for the first time, you're shown a number of options and no clear instructions on how to set any of it up. This is one of the few problems we found with the app. With no clear tutorial and so many options, it's not always clear how to do what you're trying to do. As a result, you can spend a lot of time tapping buttons to find what you're looking for. That only lasts for so long, however, and once you figure out where everything is and how to create remote connections and connect with cloud storage systems, there are a lot of things you can do with OPlayer. The user interface is streamlined for quick operation, the playback is quick and crisp, and you can create playlists from any of your sources, all with one tool.

If you are looking for a downloader and video playback-enabled media browser for your iOS device, OPlayer Lite is a great free tool to get you started. While there are a limited number of trial restrictions here, it is more powerful than a lot of premium apps in the same category, making it a good fit for almost any media-savvy iOS user.
