-The developers for the game actually go online and play alongside the average user
-They also have a firm belief that this is a world for the users. If there is an item or feature that you would like to see, if possible and/or plausible, they will create/implement it.
-Paid subscriptions are available with VIP perks, and prepaid VIP options were just added.
-Very friendly, kind, and helpful community
Cons
Onverse recently left beta, so there are still a few kinks to work out
Summary
What other virtual game out there is free, free to play, gives you a free apt., listens to it's players? I would recommend this to all hard-core gamers, casual gamers, non-gamers, and anyone that is an avid Facebook or other social website user.

Awesome interactive online sim game.
3-1415
Pros
Addictive, and interactive with other players. Use tools to uncover player points, which can be spent on most things, including other tools. Chat, make friends, go on adventures, buy a home or apartment, manage it and your avatar, shop, and party.
Cons
To buy level 3 tools, exclusive items, homes (instead of apartments), and some other items, you have to pay actual money.
Summary
Great virtual world game that is Mac compatible!
Arathym
Pros
- Being Mac compatible is a plus in itself. Many virtual worlds don't bother.
- Great graphics even though system specs are low.
- Community was very helpful.
- More game-like than most virtual worlds with exploration for points and games.
Cons
- Tutorial was a bit long, but very informative.
- The game is new, so numbers are a bit low, but growing.
- It's still in beta, so it's not complete, but they have had an update full of new stuff every month.
Summary
This is a great game. It was easy to sign up, download, and learn how to play. immediately started meeting people and having a lot of laughs.
The developers seem to be driven by gaming, rather than virtual worlds, as they have stated that this is a social platform that will have more game attachments moving forward. They also have a sense of humor that is brought into the world. I've seen goat-people with wings and pirate peg legs, along with thousands of other objects to buy.
I really like the fact that when you get a home, you actually live in a community with a bunch of other people, rather than being isolated in your house like in most virtual worlds.
There first game attachment, IceFall, is really pretty cool. It's a great way to get shopping points.
Another thing I really like is that every hour, their stores change their inventory. Every time I have played, I go to the stores and find something new.
In summary, it's a really solid experience that has a ton of potential. Being compatible for the Mac is really nice as there are a lot of virtual worlds that I've wanted to play on my Mac, but can't.
Try it out, it was well worth my time to download it. I'm hooked!
