  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />OIDS is a good arcade style game. I understand from some of the other reviews here that it is based on an older console game. The fact tat the game is still enjoyable after so long testifies to its quality, not only in the game play, but also in the programming. I registered within a few days of downloading it and have enjoyed playing quite a bit since then. Moreover, when I moved the game to another computer, the registration was no longer valid, but Xavagus responded to my email with a new registration key within a few hours (and this was on a Sunday!) Good game. Good service.

But otherwise I'll let my actions speak for me: I would have written this review 2 weeks ago, but I just couldn't stop playing the game!

• Great Conversion of Classic Mac Game!

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />This is a great OS X conversion of this classic Mac game. I spent MANY hours playing OIDS in my younger days. The Playfield (Galaxy) Creator/Editor is included. Animation is smooth and sounds are excellent. $20 may be a little pricey. But then again, they've worked hard at this and it shows.
