Very poor customer service / tech support

Pros
I have an earlier version which works reasonably well, though can be quite unstable (frequently crashes during backup). This may be because it is not designed for 64-bit (see below).
Cons
I purchased an upgrade to version 5, which did not work. I am still waiting for a reply to my query to their customer service / tech support, which I sent over 2 weeks ago. Not particularly impressed so far...
Summary
<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Mar 20, 2013<p/>...After a second email, they have now replied and sent a full (working) version of NTI Shadow 5. First thoughts: 1) seems to run smoothly 2) It has some good features (choice of one way or two way backups, which can be backed up at intervals or continuously with enough advanced features to suit most people) 3) It looks quite slick :) I have used this software (in an older incarnation) for a number of years now and have preferred it by far to similar packages.
Highly unreliable & Tech Support are no help

Pros
When I could get it to work, it did the job as described
Cons
Initial problems getting program installed & working properly. Then after a few months it came up with a license error and refused to open. Tech Support advised me to uninstall & reinstall, but serial number would no longer be accepted, and Tech Support refused to provide an alternate serial number. And to add insult-to-injury, Tech Support effectively accused me of lying when I explained that I hadn't made any changes to my system before Shadow stopped working.
