NoobProof for Mac

NoobProof for Mac allows you to set up a firewall and change its settings, quickly and easily. It comes with a configuration wizard and two modes of operation, normal mode and supernoob mode. After installation, NoobProof for Mac prompts you to choose between manual or wizard configuration. Clicking wizard configuration takes you through a quick process that helps you set up a firewall even if you haven't used one before. You can choose between normal configuration, which allows you to select which services to allow and which to deny, and supernoob configuration, which blocks access to all services. Of course you can also determine who gets access to what services. It's possible to set a bandwidth limit as well as choose the load options for the firewall. The app records and logs firewall activity, and displays services, ports, and permissions in a streamlined interface. You can stop the firewall at any time, if you want -- there's a nice button for that.
