NodeXL is the network overview, discovery, and exploration add-in for Excel 2007. It adds social network analysis and visualization features to the familiar spreadsheet, allowing graph metrics to be easily calculated and visualizations of networks to be quickly created. NodeXL features "social media spigots" - data providers that emit network data from personal e-mail, twitter and other data sources. NodeXL is a free and open project and can be found at http://www.codeplex.com/nodexl. A tutorial about social network analysis and NodeXL can be found at http://casci.umd.edu/NodeXL_Teaching.
