This app was created by a neonatologist for use by all professionals involved in the care of babies in the neonatal intensive care unit. Frequent assessment of nutritional intake of high-risk newborns is critical for good outcomes in these babies. Calculating nutritional intake of these neonates is often a very tedious and error-prone process since these babies are often on a combination of parenteral and enteral nutrition and due to the large variety of feeding formulas and caloric concentrations of these formulas available. This app makes takes the pain out of this process and makes it extremely easy, quick and error-free. Features: Easy to use and intuitive interface. Ability to set preference specific to practices in your unit. Calculation of not only caloric intake but also protein, PE ratio, fats, carbs, % calories from each macrountrient, calcium, phosphorus and vitamin D intake. Ability to see the effect of change of any entry parameter on intake quickly. Ability to add custom formulas to the database.
