• Nice little player

  Pros

  Excellent for playing FLV files locally.

  Cons

  Does not play streaming video at all (I prefer to download FLVs anyway).

  Summary

  I especially like the brightness control, witch the other FLV-only players I've used don't have. However, I do find; the following "features" just plain useless: 1. Play streaming videos - As I said above it doesn't work, ad even if it did, what's the point? Just go to a video site, and watch the video. If you like it, bookmark it. 2. The link button, favorites button, and address bar - for obvious reasons. 3. The dropdown menu next to the open button - simply unnecessary IMO.

• Great Program, small size, and everything I wanted

  Pros

  Had all of the usual features similar to WMP to allow control of playing flv videos. Allows local and remote (url) based opens. Rewind, Play, Stop, Pause, Fast forward, mute, volume slider & more. Grab your favorite files from youtube or the source of your choice and use this player, it's all you need! Can't beat the price! Thanks for a great program!

• Decent Standalone program

  Pros

  Compared with other standalone players, this one just does what it needs to. It plays the files, smooths them, and that's that.

  Cons

  It doesn't do much else... not that I really expected it or wanted it to do anything else. It's not bloated at all, at least.
