NeuralCam Live first turns the iPhone into a webcam similar to other webcam apps, BUT then it uses proprietary AI technology to provide some completely new and unique Smart Webcam features. These create a whole new video call experience:
FACE IMAGE QUALITY METER
Detects the amount of face lighting, type of face position and background and displays an overall Face Image Quality score. It helps you set up an optimal video call environment and helps you avoid making typical mistakes, such as sitting with your back towards a bright window or in an unfavorable low angle.
PRO-LOOKING VIDEO STYLES
Edits the video feed like a professional colorist would, in a range of different styles. The end-result is a more impactful look, allowing you to choose the style that best fits your mood, the type of call or the environment you're in.
GESTURE GUARD
Detects and blurs different types of gestures that don't have their place in a video call.
It detects face touches (scratching face, picking nose, yawning, etc.) and nudity. Dont get caught off-guard like in those viral Zoom videos.
LOW LIGHT MODE (PLUS SUBSCRIPTION)
Brightens up your video with a similar (though a lot more lightweight) technique used in our Night Mode photo app. It allows you to look good in video calls even in low light settings, a gentle light from your monitor is usually enough to provide a nice video feed. And just in case you need to light up things even more, you can use the face-following
RING LIGHT
Creates a face-following ring light out of the screen of your iPhone which allows you to make video calls even in pitch dark rooms.
HEAD-BUBBLE MODE
Its a more interesting way to hide your background. We think current background segmentation (green screen) used by most video call apps looks bad, really bad. Using face tracking, we put you in a "head bubble" and hide everything around it. It hides a cluttered background or your 3 year old storming into the room.
SETUP
1. Download the app on your iPhone
2. Connect the app to your Mac using a USB cable
3. Open the app on your iPhone and go through the Setup:
- Allow access for the app to use your iPhone camera
- Airdrop the NeuralCam Live Plugin to your Mac (alternatively, email a download link to your email)
- Install the NeuralCam Live Plugin
- Access https://neural.cam/check or open up your favorite video call app to connect the app for the first time
4. That's it! Choose the style of your liking and enjoy looking amazing in video calls & streams!
COMPATIBILITY
Currently, we're officially supporting Zoom, Google Meet, OBS Studio, Twitch Studio, Snap Camera, Ecamm Live, StreamLabs OBS and all web-based apps in Chrome, Firefox and Opera. Unfortunately, Safari is not supported at the moment.
NEURALCAM LIVE PLUS SUBSCRIPTION
Subscribe to NeuralCam Live Plus to get access to all features in the app including a regularly updated list of premium video styles.
NeuralCam Live Plus can be purchased as a monthly or yearly subscription and is available with a free trial on the yearly option. Once that trial is over, you'll be charged the subscription fee. Your Plus subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If your subscription is subject to any promotional discount, the discount will expire upon the end of the current period and you'll be charged the standard rate upon renewal. Go to your iTunes Account under subscriptions to manage your membership and to turn auto-renew off. Your iTunes Account will be charged when the purchase is confirmed.
