NEO.emu for Android

NEO.emu is a robust open-source emulator tailored for Neogeo arcade and home systems, derived from Gngeo. With a streamlined user interface, it aims to minimize audio and video latency, ensuring compatibility across various Android devices, including older models like the Xperia Play and more recent options such as the Nvidia Shield and Pixel phones. Users can experience smooth gameplay, provided they have the necessary neogeo.zip file for BIOS support, along with access to MAME or newer sets.

This emulator includes customizable on-screen controls and is compatible with Bluetooth and USB gamepads, as well as recognized keyboards, such as Xbox and PS4 controllers. Notably, NEO.emu does not come with any pre-loaded ROMs; users are responsible for sourcing their own. Additionally, it leverages Android's storage access framework, enabling file access from both internal and external storage, including SD cards and USB drives.
