This game offers a pure racing experience with great graphics. The installation flies by. Once you start NASCAR 2000, you select a car and driver. The registered version lets you pick a track, but the trial version provides only one. The game begins abruptly, since you find yourself already driving the car among your competitors. The racing itself is as plain as you can imagine. The track is clear, there are no obstacles on it, and all you have to do is to press the pedal to the metal. You can enter the pits to check on the condition of your car. At least the graphics are excellent. This game doesn't offer much that's new or special, but hard-core NASCAR fans will enjoy the ride.

NASCAR 2000 features authentic NASCAR racing with excellent graphics and gameplay for the PC. More than 30 of NASCAR's elite drivers are featured in the full version, including series champion Dale Jarrett, Rookie of the Year Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Bobby Labonte, and "The Intimidator" Dale Earnhardt. Players will race on any of 18 NASCAR tracks, including the new Homestead-Miami Speedway. Take on one of the seven NASCAR legends and test your driving skills against the best. There are also five challenging and unique fantasy tracks, improved physics models, smarter AI competitors, enhanced graphics, online racing, and motion-capture pit stops.
