  Pros

  If there is one thing about the ROM scene that makes it more complicated than most, it's the amount of choices a person has. Multiple emulators for the same system, multiple settings for each emulator, some games even have multiple versions for each country. How does a new user cope with all of the settings and information and just get to playing the games? How does an advanced user configure his settings once to his liking, and not have to do it each time a game is played? You use a program like myGames. Fully customizable for any gaming system, from handheld to arcade, it allows you to quickly navigate to the game you want to play and play it. The feature list goes on and on (built in image, data, and manual scanning, system- or game-specific emulator settings, built in 7zip support, etc). With support for exporting to myHTPC or Meedio, you can easily integrate your ROMs into the HTPC enviroment to make it easy (even to your little sister) to play classic games. Best of all, if you have any suggestions or feature requests, the developer is easily accessible and will work with you on just about anything, via email or message board.

  Cons

  The only downside is a side-effect of being so customizable: it can be a bit daunting when you first start the program. This isn't a program that people new to computers will pick up and run with, it expects you to have some background in emulation and general computer use.
