The Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet for Android stores the keys you use to receive or spend your Bitcoin cryptocurrency. The app lets you manage your account, send and receive Bitcoin and view the current Bitcoin price, and see your transaction history.

Secure: Mycelium is an HD (Hierarchical Deterministic) wallet and generates a new address every time you send and receive funds, making it difficult to track your balance and activities. HD also makes backing up and restoring Bitcoin addresses easier. Beyond using an HD wallet, ensure your account is secure by using a trusted password manager, two-factor authentication, and encrypted messaging and email communications, for example.

Maintain separate accounts: With Mycelium, you can manage multiple accounts if, for example, you want to use different accounts for different expenses.

Exchange Bitcoin: Mycelium Wallet handles exchange rates for 164 currencies and lets you send and receive currency using current exchange rates.

Pair with a hardware wallet: For added security, you can pair Mycelium with hardware Bitcoin wallets, including the Trezor and Ledger external hardware devices.
