This music-organization tool does what it promises, but most major media players do the same thing and a whole lot more. Before the initial launch, My MP3 Organizer looks through your drives and locates all music files, although the trial version only will add the first 500 to its library. The program's interface is easy to understand, allowing you to create collections by dragging and dropping files from the main list into another window. Another feature lets you group music files in by artist, title, album, date, or filename. Though My MP3 Organizer contains its own tiny preview player, when you actually hit the play button, your default jukebox will launch to play the song. Beyond its organizational tools, the program offers few extra features, although it does provide a option for tracking down duplicate files. If you're looking for an alternative music organizer, you might try this application, but most folks can safely skip it.
