• Good Note Reading Drill Software

  Pros

  Drills you on note reading for both the Treble ("G") Clef and the Bass ("F") Cleff - in other words, for both hands for piano/keyboard players. Starting level is extremely easy and grows in intensity slowly. The game style is certainly better than flash cards! I'm guessing this would be a nice tool for kids, and hey, it's free.

  Cons

  Gets boring quickly. There's software out there that is better suited to improving note reading skills, mainly because there is not just one way to learn. At least one of the free software packages I downloaded from this site, Music Reading Deluxe (Listed on Download.com as "Note Reading Extended"), offers a variety of ways of identifying notes and lets you choose between clefs (Treble or Bass).

  Summary

  Okay for drilling - it's almost like flash cards set to a game. It can get boring quickly, but may be more fun and challenging for children.

  Yall better hope this works or i wont be a happy camper.personaly it takes to long to see a free music sheet.
