Used Music Converter for Mac?
Editors’ Review
Music Converter for Mac is, not surprisingly, a utility to convert music files from one format to another. With integration into iTunes, Music Converter for Mac also lets you edit album, track, and artist information on any track recognized by iTunes. Music Converter for Mac installs easily.
The Music Converter for Mac interface is clean consisting of a single dialog. To convert an audio file you can drag and drop it over the Music Converter for Mac dialog, which then displays information about the file. Select the output format and the utility works quickly. Music Converter for Mac can export files in MP3, AAC, M4A, M4R, FLAC, and WAV formats and it can import those plus AVI, FLV, XviD, DivX, MOV, MPEF, MTS, RM and 3GP formats. There's some cool features built into Music Converter for Mac to make things easier, such as the ability to create ringtones for your iPhone with one click of an icon.
We used Music Converter for Mac extensively, testing it on files from both Mac and Windows machines, and it handled each with nary a glitch. There's the nag screens to upgrade to the full paid version, which will cost you $4.99, but they are not that bad. The only feature missing from Music Converter for Mac is a bitrate converter, but for what it offers Music Converter for Mac is a solid app.
