It is powerful, well laid out and easy to figure out without using the manual. I have used and despised Quark and their attitude since the very beginning and have used PageMaker, Swift, Scribus and others, but keep coming back to this MultiAd even though it has been discontinued. But, there is one HUGE problem, the developer was astoundlingly clueless in knowing that they had a BIG winner on their hands. For the price they had absolutely no competition! They came from the newspaper and corporate market and had no idea how to sell in the consumer market. So, instead of working it, they basically gave up as soon as they started. It's really sad as this could be really popular. I hope they come to their senses and bring out a Desktop version of the new MultiAd. For professionals I full recommend you buy their pro version as it is still a great deal, but for those of us who only occasionally need DTP and so buying a &#36;500 is absurd, I suggest that you push MultiAd to bring this product back to life. It fully deserves it. Please call them.

Perfect for home publishing or the pro. At $99 you will not find a better value anywhere no matter what anyone else says. I prefer this over Quark and InDesign any day. I can accomplish any task I need to with it.

I've used all the DTP programs made over the last 7+ years -- and this software is effective. It won't break your budget, they don't come out with minor updates and then ask for new license fees like many competitors, and it doesn't require buying three books of "how to" to learn to use it. It also is not bloated in size nor does it have commands hidden twelve levels deep -- this is the DTP program for everyday people who need to get their advertisements out and who have the sense not to follow the "popular" crowds right over the cliff. You simply can't say that truthfully about any other product in this category. Give it a try, and give yourself a break, and enjoy the productivity.

Easy to use, flexible and very stable in OS X 10 and 9. Will do most everything Quark will do. At $149 for the Desktop version of the venerable full program you will enjoy using it. I have used this for over a year. Fits all my needs. Great for newsletters, anything.
