WOULD NOT FIND MY MUSIC FILES!

It kept searching for the file I was looking for and couldn't find. I located it through Windows and actually went directly to the folder and it STILL COULD NOT LOCATE FILE. Waste of 20 minutes of time!

Nothing has been good about this program.
Cons
It never works. It installed several toolbars on my computer even though I declined the offers in the installer. Slowed down my computer and the toolbars are next to impossible to uninstall. Absolute garbage.

Don't install this program. There are plenty of other programs available that do the same thing and won't mess up your computer.

Seems to manage to spit out an mp3 after you finally get everything worked out.
Cons
Can't drag files onto it. You have to add them one at a time or an entire folder at once. Then when you try to remove items you don't want to convert, it instead removes random files. Every time you run the conversion it resets back to WAV at medium quality. So if you are doing a few different folders you have to remember to fix all of these settings every time. Finally, the converted file has no tags. Even though I was converting from one file type that supports tags to another, the tags did not carry over. Complete waste of time.

Impossible to use. Don't even bother. I can't even figure out how someone could make such an awful program.

Can't automatically rename files/folders based on tags. Can't control bit rate of conversion (only sample size and rate). Tries to install *five* bits of crapware during installation. Seriously? Is this down to C-Net or the authors? Either way, STOP IT.
Summary
There are better converters out there than this one, and from sources that don't try to litter your system with crapware.

didn't leave it on my computer long enough to try it.
Cons
4 or 5 other spam apps that come with it when you download. obnoxious redirect pages every time you open a new tab in your browser. ANNOYING.

save yourself the hassle and just pay for a download that isn't full of advertising junk apps.

Pros
1st of all, the conversion process was a lot faster than I thought it be, and the gui was extremely easy to understand. 2nd it worked on windows 7 smoothly (I had trouble with some other mp3 converters here on cnet) so that was good. 3rd, the main job of converting my m4a sound files to mp3 was done with no problems. No errors or anything.
Cons
The bitrate option could of been a bit more customizable in my eyes.

Quick and easy install there was no restarting of the computer necessary. Would definitely qualify on the easy to use spectrum. Works as advertised. Converted a couple of flv videos that I ripped from youtube to the mp3 format (for my samsung galaxy running the android operating system.) IT'S FREE

I installed this software to convert aac to mp3. I wanted this so i could convert my music that I got from iTunes which comes in their proprietary format. To mp3, and it worked great. I will definitely use this software in the future for future conversions!

If you have a zip file that contains audio/video files that need to be converted. You can import the files from the zip without even extracting it with our software.
