• INCREDIBLE FOR SCREEN CAPTURE AND SCREEN VIDEO CAPTURE

  Pros

  First this is a relatively simple program that can do a lot. The screen capture or that part of the screen you wish to capture can only be captured in PNG or JPEG. That is all right with me, I would convert to TIFF if I was going to edit the image file. I have already printed a screen I had captured with Monosap and it came out very good. The video, which is not why I downloaded, can capture 60 frames per second and appears not to have a limit on the time that you can capture unlike Screencast-O-Matic 2 which has a 15 minute limit. Oh, by the way, the video is in MP4 (MPEG) format and you can even record audio with your video. You can make a video selfie, easily. Remember to click save to save the video. One of the coolest apps I have ever used free or pay. PS Just saved a video file greater than 15 minutes. You can customize many hotkeys.

  Cons

  They suggest you use an array of cloud type services. This is not obnoxious at all and is located where you have to actually navigate to it in the preferences. I know that if I am going to use cloud type storage, I will get it through Monosnap. No Real Negatives. Must have iTunes account to download. That is easy to get.
