This is an updated release for fans of Modigliani who attended the exhibition of his sculpture and paintings in at Museo d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto ((MART) Dec 2010 to March 2011. The original release of this app at time of the exhibition ran on the first iPads but was subsequently removed due to developers' error. Here is the original description in Italian and English. This is an unrepeatable event because it brings together no less than eight sculptures by the great artist, which have never been seen together. In this application, you can admire them all. Next to each work, there is available a comparison with the creations of other great artists of the past, from distant traditions such as Oriental and African art and by such great artists as Picasso and Brancusi, who shared the climate of artistic renewal with Amedeo Modigliani in Paris in the 1910s.Alongside the images, there are some explanatory texts that help to explain the various facets of this exhibition. The tests have been selected from the exhibition catalogue and offer a totally new analysis of Modiglianis sculpture.
