InVersion Theatre is excited to announce its upcoming work, MIRRORING SKY, presented through Septembers Philadelphia FringeArts festival.MIRRORING SKY will be an interactive exploration of Philadelphia that explores the intersection between theatre, music, and technology. The work addresses themes of the individual in the city and the simultaneously collective and solitary experience of urban life. Participants will download a mobile phone application and use it to take a guided walk from Rittenhouse Square to the waterfront of the Schuylkill River Park.As participants walk through Philadelphias streets, they will experience a selection of site-specific dialogue, music, and sounds created by Artistic Director William Steinberger and Composer/Sound Designer Marc LeMay. The project is inspired by the poetry of Wallace Stevens and Leah Goldberg.This project is being presented as a part of the September Philadelphia FringeArts Festival.
