Mint offers business news, editorials, and market info. The app is focused on India and Asia, but provides a good cross-section of international news as well. The app is easy to use and provides excellent content.

Pros

Mix of stories: The app seems to provide a good cross-section of stories from across the globe. There is also a good mixture of international affairs news along with business stories. For instance, when reviewing the app, stories about the Chevrolet Spark recall were right beside a story about China test-firing new missiles.

Multimedia content: The app also features good multimedia content as well as the text-based stories. A good mix of videos and slideshows are available under the "multimedia" tab in the navigation.

Cons

Difficult to read: The text is quite difficult to read from the navigation screens. It is cramped and in a narrow font, and at a glance it is difficult to tell what a story is about due to long headlines.

Slow to load: The multimedia content through this app seemed to load very slowly. It was also slower when loading text stories than other news apps that we've tested.

If you're looking for a good news source to keep you up to date on what's happening in Asia and around the world, Mint could be a good choice. It has a good mix of content that should help keep anyone informed. However, the app doesn't work quite as well as some of the competitor's products and is difficult to read quickly.
