  This mod is awesome!!! If your a LOTR like me and have played "Battle for middle earth" the pc game this mod will rock.....

  its a little difficult to get running but when you do it will rock!! unfortunatly it alters the game so its best to make a back-up copy of all the game files

  For those of you with problems getting this to work, the installation is quite simple. Make sure you have Medieval TW version 1.1 (you can download this patch). It's best to copy your whole total war folder, and rename the copy to something like 'Middle Earth; Total War'. Then you just need to copy and paste all of the files in the ME:TW mod into your copied M:TW folder, click 'yes to all' for replacing files, et voila. Even I worked it out :p This mod seems to have instability problems in the campaign (a real shame, as the campaign could rock. Even though it only uses the original map, more battles would have been fun). BAsically, you can only do custom battles, but the character models are excellently done, the rohirrim and isengarders you get to use are all recognisable. There are some problems (the wildmen don't have any weapons modelled on yet :/), but overall it's great fun to be able to play around recreating the wars seen in LOTR. Well worth the download time for fans atleast!

  This mod will only work with MTW 1.1 English language version. Make sure you have this version of MTW before installing this mod. This mod consists of a Rohan and an Isengard faction. To play the mod, go to custom battle and sellect METW 3rd Era, next sellect your army and continue as usual. Keep in mind that this is only a beta!
