• Perfect program for desktop/network support

  Pros

  One scan shows each user in each PC. No hack of any sort. The same thing can be acheived via command line, but this gives you a very fluid GUI (graphical user interface). Includes a report feature that can be tweaked.

  Cons

  Neess a re-scan capability for a specific user. I have multiple users on multiple computers and I've had the situation where I pull up 3 pc names with 1 user, all of which show no user logged on. A rescan takes 10+ minutes for 1500+ users for me

  Summary

  Not sure of MAC capabilities. I found this program during a heated search on how to pull up current users on a PC. I am not cmd.exe savvy (I'm younger and did not grow up with DOS). Upon finding this, I showed this program to all my colleagues. No more asking PC names for rdc(mstsc.exe) or remote asistance. An instant hit. Upon further investigation of this software, I found that a report that we used to run (in a very DOS style program) was easily ran via this tool; and it put it in a very pretty little pie chart that appealed to the simple minded people that actually cared about that type of thing. Reports can be made based on software and/or hardware to each PC. From DELL Vs. IBM (or other maker inserted here) comparisons to all PC's with software such as IE7. You can even pull reports on updates for all you WSUS gurus. There is a 30 day free trial period that you can use to verify my claims. Also supports the ability to refer to a browser server to keep all users updated = to your setting. It can also scan directly to Active Directory to pick up all hidden machines. This is definitely a must have for destop support and the developers have my gratitude. 5 stars +1.
