MedChat is a secured messaging platform specially tailored for the Medical Community. Its easy to use and works just like most popular messaging and chatting apps you use, but in a highly secured platform, protecting the patient's Personal Health Information (PHI) which is a prerequisite for HIPAA compliance. And more than that, its free! Be on the safe side and dont put your practice into jeopardy, get MedChat now.How does it work?Like most popular messaging apps, you can send text message, attach images, video or audio, create groups and additionally, create folders. For instance a group can be related to a particular patients care and the members are all medical professionals who are involved in the patient's care. You can assign group administrators, invite members in the group and all the functions you are familiar with using other popular messaging apps, however, we made the platform secured at all levels, from the App installed in your mobile device until it reaches your recipient. All message history are logged by default and message history can be retrieved. It uses app passcode for extra protection or Touch ID authentication for devices with Touch ID support as another layer of protection. Data encryption is implemented at all levels. Data is encrypted in the App as well as in the backend server. App accesses the server using secured authentication.You can also send scheduled messages.
