Design geometric fractal patterns by replicating a cut-out image on a background image. Based on the metaphor of a Russian doll, place daughter images around a mother image at varying angles, mirror-orientations and relative scale in the "layout view". Then in the "generator view", generate layers of daughters in fractal patterns and then play with graduated opacity effects and layer ordering and number. This easy-to-use software is suitable for children and novices but capable of producing professional looking images. The comprehensive tutorial is only 21 mins in duration.
