Addictive and fun, the swiping Make It Rain game is all about making lots of money and using the money for political investments, to pay for bribes, or to establish businesses. Ultimately, however, it's a shallow game with a dark sense of humor and with no definite end.

Easy controls and gameplay: With Make It Rain you only have to tap and swipe to play. Some "skill" in fast swiping is an advantage to making more money, but you also have to implore luck (for the uncertain outcomes of bribing) and exercise cautious decision-making in establishing your political investments (donating to politicians or hiring lobbyists) and making money through your businesses. If you have played the once popular "Drug Lord," expect something similar.

Pleasant interface: The interface is colorful and engaging, making the fast swiping, which after a while becomes quite tedious, tolerable.

Interesting in-app purchases: Just like almost every other mobile game, this one features in-app purchases. You'll likely resort to in-app purchases if you encounter the "FBI" too often.

Repetitive and shallow: Make It Rain lacks depth. The "challenges" are rather repetitive and may bore you if you are looking for something with more visuals and action on the screen. Ultimately, it's a game that offers only a shallow sense of achievement.

Not for all ages: With its greed theme and dark humor, this game isn't for kids. It is not as "offensive" as the controversial Weed game pulled from the App Store recently, but it has a theme that is only meant for adults.

In spite of its shallowness, Make It Rain does provide entertainment. Its repetitive nature does not easily make it monotonous, at least for most casual gamers who tend to enjoy puzzle and word games. It's not the best mobile game around, but it's free and worth a try.
