Pros
Good player on supported channels. Strong performance on Al Jazeera English, a pro-West news channel, alone makes it worth-while to have in your repertoire.
Cons
A little effort is involved in figuring out what channels that you might like are available.

I've had it on my Windows 7 laptop for about two years and added it to my new netbook last week as well.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Aug 25, 2012<p/>Who put in the extra quotation mark on my title? Also, make sure you sign in and then download through CNET to get notification of updates.

Channel selection is as good as you would likely find on a mobile device
Cons
Installation of the current version isn't always flaewless. Had to do a repair job just so it would run WITHOUT crashing
Summary

the player won't crash. you get the international news from other sources which is very good. you can chat as you watch the programs with others from around the world.
Cons
you pay to upgrade but it is worth it the one time price is affordable could have more stations but still can see 6 or more at once.

its good get it. wish it had more stations no cartoons in (english) bummer! and no cartoons at all. but can watch programs from different stations and can chat and twitter with others from around the world, still good maybe get better.

Huge amount of channels: popular, common, and even Self-Added (not always on). I have been using all kind of programs but this one have all their advantages and non of their disadvantage. * carousel, favorites, news alert, highly customizable.
Cons
you need to enter an email and password once, they wont send you messages if you don't want it.
Summary
BEST in the world.
Can not download with out an account.

You have to create an account with Livestation before it can be downloaded and used. I will not give Livestation my personal e-mail address. No thank you Livestation there are other good free video players to download that do not require an account.

Very impressed with the quality of the official channels. The player is very easy to use. Also like the Buzz tab which allows you to see what others are watching.

I am disappointed at the limited and very small range of stations it offers. When i click on channels like Discovery or humor TV, nothing is shown. So I go to the website and finds that this company is run by big names like ex-president of CNN, CEO of AOL. What are these people thinking? so many big names and yet such a crappy product? If they are seriously thinking of getting more people, then they seriously need to do something about the range of channels and stop asking people to sign up with them. Thumb down!
