Piece of crap, don't waste your time or money

backup locks up the pst file so you can't get into outlook briefcase is slow and always times out.
Summary
I purchased the white label reseller account for over $1900 and they won't give me a refund. this software is soo bad, I can't sell this crap to my customers. Help me spread that word that these guys are rip offs.

Summary
2TB for $16 (Briefcase mode) 'sounds' like a deal to good to pass up. However, for $160 (yearly fee), I can buy several 1TB external HDD's, and I control access to them. Cloud storage seems like a heck of a deal, although I am concerned about possible (probable/likely?) future changes to 3rd party access. Maybe I am being overly suspicious, or maybe not. Either way, for now, I prefer to have the vast majority of my backups stored locally. On devices that I, and ONLY I, have access to.

Summary
I don't know how to get out of this mess. They have my credit card number and they control the account. I tried to remove the software and end usage, but was unsuccessful. Do not get trapped by this company.

BAD EXPERIENCE - LOSS ACCESS TO DATA - REFUSED REFUND

2TB of capacity was too hard to pass up. Bargain price for DropBox like features (on the surface)

-slow synchronization (I have 24Mb fiber) 5 times slower than DropBox -systems were very laggy when this product was installed, I have very robust hardware too -loss of access to data when trial ended, had to pay up to move off.
Summary
As I mentioned, problems. I sent the below to their support: - very slow to synchronize (DropBox is about 5 times faster with the same files) - when I didn't pay your fee yesterday, I was unable to access my files at all (locally). I was on a business trip and did not have time to figure out what was happening. I had to pay the fee this morning to get my files back. That was NOT cool. - my system is very laggy with your product. Removing Livedrive, the lagginess is gone. This is on both an OSX 10.4.6 macbook pro and two Windows 7 64 bit systems.4 days later, after requesting a refund, they send this: "Hi, We can only refund accounts within the trial period. As your account has been open longer than the trial period we are unable to refund it. As per the Terms of Use we do not offer pro-rata refunds. Regards, Kat"
RUN AWAY FROM LIVEDRIVE. WOULD NOT GIVE ME A REFUND.

they do not stand behind their product - or issue a refund if you are not happy.
Summary
If you are considering trying Livedrive, please BEWARE! Do yourself a favor and find a different service. There are other companies that will stand by their product, and help you get it working properly. Even once we determined that the livedrive product was COMPLETELY USELESS to our company, livedrive would not even refund the prorata portion of the amount we paid. Can you spell SCAM! There is nothing more to say... find another company - but don't even think about using Livedrive.
